My mission:
In the broadest sense, I started this blog as a means of communicating my ideas in the world. In the narrowest sense, I started this blog in the winter of 2011 to share my journey as a recent college graduate searching for a new job and balancing all of the little obstacles and triumphs that come along with life.
Since then, this blog has evolved from documenting my trials and tribulations as a newly-minted "real world" participant into an outlet for my curiosity, love of learning, and general observation of the world in which we live. It has been a great opportunity to channel my writing abilities, but also to engage in a greater dialogue with those of you in the online community.
About me:
I am currently pursuing my master's degree in public relations at Boston University. Before that, I briefly worked in publishing. I have my bachelor's degree from Merrimack College in English and Italian Studies. I have always believed in studying what you are truly interested in and passionate about, and I have been lucky to do that in pursuing both of my degrees. I hope that I can channel my passions and interests into a career that merges my interests (and things I love -- see below), meeting new people/being part of a team, and engaging in something that has the ability to be creative and challenge/influence people.
Things I Love:

Things I Love:
- Travelling: I've been to a handful of the States, but also have travelled to Italy (all over, three times now), Paris, France and London, England. In fact, I even spent two months in London as an editorial intern in 2011 (check out my blog: Boston2Britain to see what kind of mischief I was up to!)
- Fashion: Personal style tells your story without you needing to say a word. Considering that I love to talk and share my own stories, it's only natural that I have a closet representing my love of storytelling through style.
- Literature: If I was trapped in Barnes & Noble, I would be perfectly okay -- especially if I had complete access to the little cafe.
- Meeting new people: I love to talk, and it's even better when I get to talk to a new person and learn something about them. Conversation is the key to life.
- My dog, Charlie: There's a reason dogs are considered man's best friend, and Charlie only reinforces that age-old saying.
- Food: I may not be able to cook or bake very well, but I am from a family that certainly knows how to do so --and do it well. You do the cooking, and I'll do the eating.
- Music: I've been playing piano since I was about nine years old, which means it's been over ten years of jamming out in my living room to Chopin, Billy Joel and the occasional Lady Gaga tune.
- Writing: I started a blog. Enough said.
